Star Devotion

I have been wondering why people have a tendency to blame South Indians' star devotion. It is a trait of movies, noticed every where, except that it is displayed with posters and hoardings in South.

Before any argument, I would like to iterate a statement by some reviewer on national television - Only sex and Shahrukh sells in Bollywood. If that has to be considered true, then the bollywood viewers have no right to comment on other movie industries. Yeah, people who watch soaps of Rakhi Swanth and Rahul Mahajan can comment of anything.

Now, the too much worshiped Rajanikanth did not get a success that is not worth it. A very right example for this would be the super hyped BABA. This movie was a disaster, even after the star himself gave the statement that BABA would be his last movie and he would be retiring. If blind worship is so true, it should have gone beyond breaking records just in India. The star returned to movies as the movie was not successful, and the distributors were paid back a part of their losses from his personal income.

Nandamuri Balakrishna who is a very successful successor of the legendary NTR had disasters in box office. Those movies also had the same kind of action sequences and dances which were expected to entertain audience.

If worship was so blind, Chiranjeevi would have won with majority beyond imagination.

The fact that the stars in south go beyond just being actors is usually ignored. NTR, who went on to become CM of Andhra Pradesh, granted wishes like Rs.2/kg of rice or Rajanikanth, who does lots of charity in Tamil Nadu, believe in returning back the favor to audience. Govinda had the chance to go the extra mile, he got elected but did absolutely nothing, could not win the hearts of people and get worshiped. There is no such example of stars in bollywood. It is as simple, they take an extra step to reach people and people take an extra step of dedication to them. And it goes iterative.

Finally, I have to close with a question about comments on action sequences. Wondering why the same people don't comment on Bruce Willis' movies for the stunts, is the Hollywood tag so necessary for hero to perform super natural acts?

No Title

Have been thinking to blog from long time, but as lazy I am, it took me this long. Thought to write about movies, tours, food and nothing went to paper... I mean keyboard.

3:04 the morning - We were coming back from IHOP (which was our choice for the day's coffee place after the New Moon movie), and we just went past Residence Inn... my first home in Atlanta. With less than a week to leave Atlanta, it was a flash of images on my mind. It was a bad editing of sequence as they were too random, but it was exiting. My first stay out of India, or I should say in a new world where I knew none. It was a wonderful feeling before I started here, and it is as wonderful now also. 7 months, 7 new friends, 7 outings, 70 movies... as beautiful as a rainbow.

Even the 'we', friendship with Vivek (or Viveck as my phone book entry says) and Lakshmi, started with just a smile. Probably that day, at breakfast, he felt as alien as I was feeling in Residence Inn (lets say we hail from same Planet 52) and we exchanged a 'familiar' smile - you know, the smile people have when two gulte exchange in Gujarat or two balle balle exchange in Tamil Nadu (not the 'Amway familiar'). Now I am a friend who they think they can spend time with and hang out on weekends. Did I say, Lakshmi makes tea as good as a Saravana Bhavan tea. They have a added advantage with me, they can have their personal talk with no hesitation and I will not get a thing out of their Malayali discussion. Of course the same applies with the Marati discussion Amol and Prajakta can have.

Before talking about Mr&Mrs Amol... meeting Rajesh was a sweet surprise. Out of the alien space, on my second day at work, I saw some one whom I knew (of course, I knew nothing more than the face and name of the face from college). He is here from Infosys, on the same project. Very same day I have friends at work, obviously his friends. He helped me a lot not to feel handicapped without a car, and soon Bharat joined to help me. 3 yr.s of onsite made Rajesh a very good cook, mark in bold that he is veg.

Bharat is also a Infoscion. I should say he has lot of patience, I mean wow... I hit a BMW with Jeep, I drive bad and missed a wreck by an inch on a highway and he still maintains his cool. Yes, he does warn me and teaches me how not to mess with traffic, but with cool head. Not to forget mentioning, he is a very good cook. His chicken item is something to watch out for in the potlucks. Too regular not to miss movies, find him if you need company for a bollywood pic.

Amol is another Infoscion, whom I barely took note of on the first day introductions. The next day when Rajesh introduced us again, it meant like 'now both of you have a new friend'. Later I understood that it is how it sounds when we are at an alien place (remember... we hail from Planet 52). An enthu guy who is in his early thirties but looks as young as me (or do I look as old as him, whatever) and is game for masti anytime. Prajakta, babhi of our team (of-course, except for Amol) in Atlanta (Bharat is a forced bachelor here, so no babhi). A very good cook and fun loving person. When ever she agrees with you, 'I knoowww...' is her word.

Yes, the count is 6 here. Nandan is not in this batch. He was a 'hi-hello' in IIIT, 'Oh hii' in Deloitte. Here we started with 'hi mama... hi macha'. I played tennis for the first time at his place, played cricket for the only time here with his friends. I was lazy not to visit him regularly, but sure that it is a friendship that I can count on.

No, I was not just roaming all the time. I go to work as well, may be I should say I go to fun. Andrew, Evan and Mark made sure that we had fun working there. The workplace was never tense or busy, all that was carried by Andrew. We were having only the fun and cool part. Anthony and Gilson were busy with their work, and they kept suggesting me places to visit. The best part of talking and fun was the Wednesday dinners. Randy, Ravi and Badri + some topic to debate, discuss + Randy coaching me on flirting and dating (live tutorials as well).

Few more names to mention, Sireesha and Prakash, and Mohan. Sireesha was my jr at college, colleague at Deloitte, and Prakash is her husband. We did not meet so often, we had good time together every time we met. Mohan is again another Infoscion in our project. His daughter Minisha is so cute, you would love to have her around.

I know, it makes others feel jealous about my onsite. And I too feel that I am going to miss all this fun. I mean... how often do you get a chance to drive various cars without worrying about insurance, tickets and bad traffic. Probably my next task should be नज़र उतारना or దిష్టి తీయటం for my trip. I will be on it...

PS: I don't know if I should call this blog Atlanta or Life in Atlanta (sounds like the movie title Life in a Metro). Feel free to suggest me one.

Prayanam

Just wondered today that its been long that I blogged and now I got a good subject to blog.

Getting bored on a Friday, I watched the movie Prayanam. The movie might be a bit sluggish at moments but I believe that was a good execution with just 5 or 6 characters. Though there is not much comedy from Bramhanandam episodes, the movie runs on a light vein comedy and is fun to watch with friends.

Now what is that I want to say on blog is not the movie review. The movie has pointed the success formula of episodes in love. Hero's friend explaining the love episodes splitting them into 15 minute intervals is very good. Because the movie deals with expressing love and convincing a girl, I think everyone will have a takeaway from the movie. The incidents and workflow (am not getting a better word here) are very realistic and match to many stories we see in real life. The movie finally has a predictable ending, and I am sure that no one would like to see a different one there. One will definitely enjoy the movie with friends relating to the real life situations.

Communication

A nice article I found on the homepage of in.com. Though the communication mentioned here is about love, the content holds good for every other relationship, even for professional life. You may find many more interesting links on the original page ;)

Communication is one of the main ingredients to a beautiful and healthy relationship. To communicate is to exchange your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, critiques and other comments with another person. Without having such an exchange, a relationship will live in silence and soon drown in that silence, until there is no longer any kind of connection between the two of you. This is one of the biggest reasons a relationship ends and also a reason why some are lead to making bad decisions.

Good communication is not just about being able to talk, but being able to listen. Being a good listener does not just mean waiting for your turn to talk, but really taking in the words your partner is sharing with you. As you receive those words, you should also understand the emotions in those words and the body language that goes along with them. If you do not pay close attention, you might miss the meaning in the words that are being said and the body language that is being presented with them.

Constant defensiveness is another way to lack good communication. If you or your lover constantly get offended by what the other says, then either one of you are not choosing your words too wisely, not listening very well, or not respecting each other�s opinion. All three of those are communication no-nos. If you tend to get defensive as an instant first response, make an effort to stop and really listen to what your partner has said to you. Hearing and listening are different. If you only hear, you can turn those words into anything your mind tells you to, but if you listen, you will really understand the meaning your partner had behind those words. If you have a defensive partner, help him or her by asking them what offended them so much. Repeat your words and explain what you meant so they can get a better visual.

With good communication skills on both of your parts, your relationship can be stronger than you ever hope for!

Andaman... a lovely place to visit

Been to Goa? Been to Vizag, Chennai, Mumbai? Still Andaman is a place to visit. It is a scenic beauty and more natural place. Just imagine clear waters where you can see 7 to 8 ft into it. Imagine that at a magnitude of Ocean.

Be prepared to travel a lot, in water and on road. When we started for 6 days, people said that it was too much and we should cut it to 3 or 4 days. Believe me, 6 days is nothing. We could have stayed for 6 more days. We had advantage on both lodging and roaming prices, so we could have stayed for 16 more days ;)

Few things to know. Flights are available from Chennai, Vizag and Kolkatta. These places are connected by water too. But in any case, book tickets early enough not to see surprises. The roads are good and wide. People speak Hindi majorly, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali are also very common. Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL the mobile masters there. Sun rises by 5am and sets by 4 30 or 5 pm. There will be rains in every season. You should be as lucky as us to have no rains in your trip. The rule says that you can't take any natural property without proper channel. There are lots of beautiful stones with designs formed due to corals. You can bring smaller ones back home with no problem. And finally about food. Tiffins in road side centers are good and local people suggest them than restraunts. You find all from regular menu in restraunts, Biryani, meal and rotis. As a caution, don't try tomato soup. They make it from sauce and tastes very bad.

Before I say about good things, Chatam mill, Corbyn's cove and Mount Harriet can be avoided.

Lets talk about must see places.

The first thing, Andaman Cellular Jail. Do visit it and you will understand the pain fighters had. Sound and light show was not so interesting, it was more boring. But at that time of day, it will already be dark and it is good choice to see the show than staying at lodge.

Wandoor beach, you have a snorkeling point near Wandoor. Go there and it is not so famous and crowded place as Jolly Buoy, and it is more effective. It took Rs.750 /4 persons for the trip there. Takes just 4 hours.

North Bay, another snorkeling point. There are boats from Port Blair, just few km away. But be careful, this beach is not so neat. Two of us got our feet cut in water due to some glass pieces. If you know how to swim you can take the glasses and respiration pipe for rent and enjoy.

Ross Island is the East India Comp. head quarters at that time. So the tourist places are ruined offices and township. It is good enough, but there is lot to walk if you have to cover the entire island. There is no beach and swimming place there. Its a half day trip.

Chidiya Tapu is also called sun set point. You can spend lot of time here roaming and playing in water.

Havelock island, Radhanagar beach is the must. Silver sand, clean sea water and lots of scope to play in water. The water is not so deep even at 100mts into water. This is a place to visit for the honeymoon couples. Book tickets in advance if you want to travel in speed boat(Rs 250). Tickets are available in normal boat unlimited. This takes a whole day. Select normal class(Rs 90) if travelling by regular boat. If you can stay there at night, there is another island nearby.

Baratang is the best for travel. It costs around Rs 750 per head. Starting with jeep, to a ferry and then a boat. Limestone cave and mud volcano are the visiting spots. I should not miss mentioning a point here, we came across a lady who's an exact copy of Divyabharathi. This takes an entire day.

Incidentally, the tourism festival started in the same time when we were there. It is a good chance to shop from varieties from all over the country.

There are marine museum where you can buy some corals and some archaeological museum etc.

There might be many place we didn't visit, but these are the most recommended at that time. But am sure this place will excite you.

We had great time, thanks to Rajesh's relatives. They made us feel at home and helped us thru the trip. The hospitality is wonderful. B4 closing, pics from our trip are here.

Example 1 and 2 are some I found on web with the same content (Of course, the number changed). So don't get too generous, take advice and use the web before responding to any such mails. Not just this. If this is out, they can come up with any new idea. Some common sense and some cyber sense should definitely help you out :)

First look at Google Chrome

My friends yet didn't stop astonishing at the new add-ons from Mozilla and when I was thinking that it takes no time for Mozilla to make a complete browser, I heard that Chrome is released. First thought, do we really need another browser doing the same work and same features?

Soon I understood that it is a very wrong thought... why would Google do a routine again? Absolutely fantastic concept. Each tab a new process and each plug-in a new process. You can kill what ever is not responding. Perfect, that very idea sounds great. And where do you get the task manager, you get it from the browser it self. A task manager for the browser. Great.

Small things that can change a lot, one of them is the private data. What if I dont want only a few sites to be cleared from history, but keep other sites. Perfect solution again. An incognito window. You can open it from any link in a normal window. So you have the browsing go on and incognito 'on demand' ;)

It is still in beta and you can notice that you have the option to report bug or broken site as and when you see some.

When all browsers show 'Open in new window' as the first option, chrome changed the order to put the mostly used option at the top - 'Open in new tab'. I see more common sense and user friendlyness added.

  

You can notice that the window does not waste much space either for the command bar or for the status bar. You have more content space than other browsers. It is a status 'on demand'. 

Not much mess, look and feel are simple and the features are huge. The google philosophy can be seen here again. 

It has its own way of developer friendlyness - An open source browser, so you can have your add ons if you want; A built in VM to run Java Script which forms the major part in todays web pages; inspect feature which is a html viewer to help understand each element you see on the page. There is every thing for everyone. From end user, learner to developer and expert.

Yeah, it sure does not have all the features extensively, like the 'Recently closed tabs' of the mozilla. But possibly ignored due to the simpler interface. Bugs, I've already reported one. You can not sign in to in.com.

Am sure you will have fun using chrome. Download it, explore it.

So what's next revolution on the browsers? We have to wait and see, it may take some time to analyze the new features and understand what is it that is still pending.

Remember Y2K? That was the “millennium bug,” the software glitch that threatened to melt down millions of computers when their internal clocks tried to roll over on Jan. 1, 2000, because they were not designed to handle that new date.

And remember that the only country that had enough software programmers to adjust all these computers so they wouldn’t go haywire, and do it at a reasonable price, was India. And remember that it was this huge operation that launched the Indian outsourcing industry — which is why I have long felt that Y2K should be a national holiday in India.

Well, remember this: there is an even bigger opportunity for India than Y2K waiting around the corner. I call it “E2K.”

E2K stands, in my mind, for all the energy programming and monitoring that thousands of global companies are going to be undertaking in the early 21st century to either become carbon neutral or far more energy efficient than they are today. India is poised to get a lot of this work.

I first started thinking about this when I heard Michael Dell declare that Dell Inc. would become “carbon neutral” in its operations by the end of 2008. He said Dell would take inventory of its total greenhouse gas outputs and then develop plans to reduce, eliminate or offset those emissions.

With a carbon tax or cap-and-trade legislation looming, every day you are going to see more and more companies doing the same thing. It is going to be the next big global business transformation. And it’s going to require tons of software, programming and back-room management to measure each company’s carbon footprint and then monitor the various emissions-reduction and offsetting measures on an ongoing basis. Guess who’s got the low-cost brainpower to do all that?

Some of the smartest Indian outsourcing companies are already positioning themselves for the E2K market.

“What did Y2K do?,” asked Nandan Nilekani, the co-chairman of Infosys Technologies, one of India’s premier outsourcing companies. “It was a deadline imposed by the calendar, and therefore it had a huge ability to concentrate the mind. It became a drop-dead date for everyone. Making your company carbon neutral is not a date, but it is an inevitability.”

When Y2K came along, some companies responded tactically, doing only the minimum reprogramming to keep their computers operational after Jan. 1, 2000. Others approached it more strategically, saying: “Since we’re going to have to go through all our software anyway, why not just retire all the old stuff and upgrade to the newer, simpler systems that will make us more efficient.”

These companies went from seeing I.T., or information technology, as a cost to looking for ways to make money from it — through data mining and using better information to cross-sell products, reduce cycle times for introducing new services and to manage inventories more efficiently.

The key to winning E2K business for the Indian outsourcing firms, said Mr. Nilekani, will be showing big global companies, like a Dell, how becoming more energy efficient or carbon neutral doesn’t just have to be a new cost they assume to improve their brand or satisfy regulators, but can actually be a strategic move that makes money and gives them an edge on the competition.

“The strategic companies will say: ‘We are stuck with this problem — why not take advantage of it and use it to revolutionize and rejigger our whole energy infrastructure,’ ” added Mr. Nilekani. They will use E.T. — energy technology — “to reduce material costs, simplify logistics, drive down electricity charges and shorten supply chains.”

As they start to do this, it will require a lot of data management, which companies will want to do as cheaply as possible. Hello India. Hello E2K.

“My impression is that there is certainly a significant opportunity for Indian outsourcing companies,” said B. Ramalinga Raju, chairman of Satyam Computer Services, another top Indian outsourcing company, adding that the precise size of that business will depend on “the speed and scale at which the carbon neutral policies are adopted by the global companies.”

To better compete for such business, Mr. Nilekani is installing solar systems and other efficiency technologies at Infosys’s Bangalore campus. Satyam is planning to do similar things with its verdant Hyderabad complex, which already has its own zoo.

I.B.M. seems to be moving into this space, too. Big Blue knows that even if Indian companies do a lot of the back-room work, there will be lots of front-end jobs nearer the customers.

So, mom, dad, tell your kids: if they’re looking for a good stable-growth career — green consultants, green designers, green builders are all going to be in huge demand. And if they can speak a little Hindi — all the better.

Happy Days- review, my view

A full length entertainer, as seen in all tv channels its a big hit of the season. As the big releases are not faring well, this can go bit higher too. Performance of new comers, direction and songs are very good. This said, there is some thing you expect and not present in the movie.

College life, when specified engineering, has many other things than girls. And that every thing else is left. It is sure that every one will have a crush, may be some will have a girl friend, and yes some might be ditched by their girl friend/ boy friend. But that alone is not college life, not for any student. There are many important people, things, events in college life.

The best part lies in hostel life, in the relation shared with seniors and later juniors, and all the time with staff. The fun being pet of few staff and being the most pointed by few staff is the last thing one can forget. There may be crush on some beautiful staff, but thats not all. The exams, copying, results, attendance and attendance shortage, bunking of classes... lots and lots. I miss that in movie from my expected list.

Then the relation with seniors. They are the one who give us the courage to go through difficulties, advise us on career and life and at times teach us the greatness of friendship. This is from them we learn the tradition of birthday bumps, engineering salute, bunking and many other things. The same we do spread to our juniors. Getting our records written by juniors, ragging them, inquiring about the girls of their batch... lots to say.

Even the too good songs in movie are not at right situations. The lyrics do not match the situation. They could have been utilised in much better scenes.

I feel Nuvve Kavali was a better college life, and love life. May be we can call Happy Days as Nuvve Kavali-2 or Meere Kavali ;). With no doubt it is as good entertainer and makes you nostalgic and a must see.

Notes

Some interesting software...

Every time I think I need to have a fast note of something, the option is to open notepad and save it. But I can't put and manage these notes every time, or I will end up saving .txts with numbers or short names depending on the info noted.

So I have searched for some desktop notes. I have used one that slides when you want to take note and hides itself once it's done. Few months later I moved to a new firm and thought to use sticky notes, found hottnotes interesting. Now I have moved to another firm again. Hottnotes gave some problem and is not starting up, saying dll missing. Also it's sticky notes and so the desktop gets messed with transparent notes. So thought to move back to the sliding notes.

Unfortunately I forgot the name. Googled many times but most of them are the stikcy notes kind of result. I have to move thru pages of search results and try few screenshots to find if its the one I am looking for.

Finally found this. The freeware edition is developed by and present at http://notes.aklabs.com/

You too may like it, a light weight and friendly notes with reminder facility.

I dont know why being good doesnt work

I have been fighting to claim full and final settlement from my previous organisation from past 4 months. No mail or phone worked out when I tried to be good. And now, I got a fast reply when I gave this mail. I dont know why people put a deaf year till it blasts.

Its more than couple of weeks that you said you will revert in couple of days. Request you not to take my requests as helplessness. The salary from Jan is pending, and its bad to see that none cares to reply back. Inspite many mails, I see no reply from YYY till now. Please remeber that I am not begging.
Please close my dues asap, in week or so. Because the response is very embrassing, I may resort to legal procedures now if this continues.

Happy Days

I am very much inspired by the music of this film. My eyes went wet listening to songs, and so thought to make a blog of my college days, happy days. I am making notes in a word doc and then blogging with that help. But ordering of episodes is getting tough. And I even donno how to narrate properly. Lets see how it goes.

As soon as I started writing, the obvious title I got is 'The Beginning'. And the next thought is whats the end. I got this line to end - and now after being in love twice, I am on the way to attend my friend Jana’s marriage. May be by the time I end the blog, I need to change the bridegrooms name ;)

A serious mail

This was a mail to Yash Tech. after I got a disappointingly bad way of response from the people after HR Round. I think you can get the pulp of discussion from the mail. I think they don't want to go great, but just have people for the sake of having an IAM division and charge the clients. And they are not even professional enough to reply back!!!

   Pls find the mail attached, in which I have clearly stated the expected salary. If you have noticed it was written already on the backside of my CV copy with you, and that was the same I have quoted with Mr.ABCDE.
    I am not trying to fight, but I wanted a justification for my time. Three days I had come there and returned as no one was available for interviewing and 5 hours or so was spent on further telephonic and hr discussion.
    In our discussion, you have said that you would scale up to X and if it is X.Y the you would have some clauses. The next day I see a sms saying you are not interested in any discussion unless I agree on Z.Y.
    This could have happened on the first day, saving 15 hours of mine and almost 5 hours of you and your staff. I was thinking why this time was wasted even when my expectations and your offering was clearly apart.
    And if you permit me a question, on the lines of asking me how would I guarantee that I will join you on Z.Y… if you were not ready to scale 70k or so more when the candidate had a choice to choose Yash or not, how do I believe that you would be ok with a 1.5 lakh hike in next 6 months. You were not ready to listen to the add-on value I get, then how do I believe that my add-on value will be recognized after joining.

what's next

On a move out of Ilantus I have moved to Deloitte after a one month struggle. Donno how many changes am to make still, but definitely there are going to be many.

Wipro was a kind of stunningly good offer. Every one is surprised to see the package they have made, but some how the location made me choose Deloitte even for an idiotic offer. Only concern was home, hyderabad at that time.

Obviously with a disappointment that I joined with an idiotic offer, nothings going to make good. So I forgot that for the time and started on how to make it big here. The learning centre is good and big and so I have started doing online learning and things went fine till now. So just thinking.. what's next? a change or to remain here.

Happy Bday Modi

not Narendra Modi of Gujarat. I have a frnd called Narendra and we call him Modi, Jiggu and so on. Its his bday. The sweet heart of our batch had a blast

Blast... real blast. Whatever he does for two days, the blast will keep reminding him of the celebrations. I just came to learn the modifications in the celebrations. They got a new way of bumps and other shots. My Goddd, he had real bad shots. I think you will need to see some pic to assume how the new procedure was.




Unfortunately he was one of the active participant in the new proc when it was introduced. Now he is a victim.

He broke the proc by not dancing and singing. Hope we cover this for the next time as an added item ;)

Busy days

This month and the previous went very busy. I donno how many days I saw something called evening. I donno if God knows, we had no clue of what we were working on and how it runs.

VMware, a nice tool making us idiots. Its gud if you want a virtual machine as a client, but damn sure that you cant run servers on it as you can on a normal desktop. Oh my.. too many errors which gave no clue. Permission denied, host not found and finally my mind not found. And every thing ran same if the server is a desktop. And using these for POCs (Proof of Concept) is idiotic. None can assess the real time and performance.

Now we are praying that things go on fine after this great 9th wicket partnership kinda work we did. But the risk is that we are having the things on VMware.

Things could have been configure much easier and faster if atleast we did it all. To add to the problem, our partners did half work and asked us to continue. We had to wait for a password which they missed to inform for one whole day with out any progress.

Too many too much issues and finally hope this will the last weekend in this company that I need to work.

I had to see weekend atleast the next weekend.

sucking month in company

This month my pay is delayed by 15 days. First said as 7, then made 15. My dues and head aches are not much, but a prob for those who have. It may be there next month too.

Now no work in office, still have to sit for 8hr count and so everyones getting so much sick sitting that they are planning for their new jobs ;). More common in any comp if people sit on bench.

On the name of changes, these are doing many things that mean nothing or those mean more trouble. If you want, you can just question. They will answer and only answer, no action. I am sure this makes more trouble later. Lets see how it goes on.

BTW... this month we(Niru, Sonal and me) are to get confirmed from probationary, am I??

New Beginning

Taking big gaps in blogging. Everytime I think to write more and everytime I get busy with other things.

I do too many things at one time and so lack time for every thing. Am learning now, learning from my brother. A cool, rather level headed person and one who knows what he is doing. Be it career or investment or any thing els, you ought to think like him- whats it for you and is it what you think. Now I've started accounting everything am doing. Be it my certification and MS or be it my credit card and career. I am implementing the rules I learnt.

As a first step am cancelling the numerous cards I hold and also started the account on what I am spending. And the other steps mentioned here. Pray that things go great for me. I too prayed the same. Hey forgot... want to see my new look. Then loot at this. A long time thought to visit Lord Venkateshwara and get tonsured is now filled as a part of this beginning.

Wish me luck (I do have confidence, luck is what I miss ususally).

MS

On for another degree. Dont know how far I can do this but am starting with new course, MS in Consulting and Psychotherapy.

Today got admitted and also got the material. Lets wait and see if I can be a proud double master. Three people doing masters out of four from our family at present and two purusing second master programme. My mom doing her MA in Telugu who is already an MA in Hindi, my brother doing his MBA from ICFAI while working with IBM.

So reading company too.
